Legal Experience
Attorney Largay tried in excess of 75 jury trials to verdict, and 100’s of bench trials, hearings, and mediations/arbitrations, including cases of significant value and unusual precedent.
Civil Verdicts range from business and commercial litigation to a variety of personal injury awards. Criminal Acquittals in a number of felony matters from burglary, gross sexual assault, and OUI cases. Responding to the call of the Courts, we have handled several Murder cases from arrest through verdict.
The firm practices civil and criminal law in all Maine State and Federal Courts. Throughout a 20 year career, Attorney Largay has continued to narrow and specialize the firm’s select corporate and business practices. We believe that experience in the courtroom, with mastery of the rules of court and evidence, translates into confidence and successful outcomes in the often complex world of business negotiations.

Featured Pro Bono Activities
Volunteer Lawyers Project – At the request of a Maine-based non-profit legal services agency, Attorney Largay has handled dozens of legal matters pro bono, or for no compensation. In 2007, he finished a 2-year pro bono divorce case that reached the equivalent of over $ 20,000 in the value of legal services provided to a gentleman falsely accused of abusing his wife and children.
With no prior record or history of abuse, he was ejected from the marital home and separated from his four children for over 12 months until Attorney Largay convinced a District Court Judge that not only did the client not abuse these children and spouse, but he was the primary caretaker acting in their best interests. The case ended with the Client and his children residing together in the marital home, making it socially, financially, and legally in this remote community.
Friends of Dakin Pool – City of Bangor/East Side Community Project – Board of Directors – 2006-2007. The Friends raised in excess of $150,000, 50% more than its goal, to bring back to life an abandoned East-Side community pool.
Saxl Park Committee – City of Bangor/East Side Community Project – Board Member, 2007 – Present. SPC seeks to preserve 100+ acres of natural terrain consisting of fields, paths, and woods, beside the Dorothea Dix Psychiatric Center, Cascade Park, and overlooking the majestic Penobscot River.
